This probably does not qualify for your actual post unless you are very generous in the definition of "using"
I have a pair of PV-4C amps (but no passive PA speakers)
1 of the amps (which blows the channel B circuit breaker on power up) is used about 1 time every 3 years when I play electric guitar with my rig. My electric guitar rig is a line6 POD XT and a 15" Eminence Patriot speaker in a open back cabinet, powered by the PV-4C with the 1 operating channel.

I thought I'd add that most of our new utility loudspeaker purchases (i.e., everything except our vertical arrays) are trending to "power inside" designs as we replace older, heavier inventory.

Camco?  We auditioned a Nexo GEO S rig powered by Camco amps and in the 3 weeks we had them, experienced no problems.  That rig sounded really, really good but was too small for most of what we do.  One of the shows we did with it was Ladysmith Black Mambazo in a small-ish university concert hall.  The BE had me delay the PA a few ms. and it was like having the singers right in front of you, 70 feet back.  Almost no system EQ was used by the BE.

I bring this up because in the grand scheme of things power amplifiers should be "wire with gain."  Nothing more, nothing less.  As JR often points out, what happens at the extremes of operation tend to determine our impressions.  Ladysmith would not tax the power amps at any SPL the audience or artist would tolerate but it was pretty obvious that the controller and amps were not coloring the sound in a noticeable way when operated within their linear range.

Some amps *are* better than others when it comes to this relatively simple task, and old amps *are* more likely to develop "character" as the caps dry out and other heat/age related things take their toll.  Don't discount that some users like the sound of distortion, too.

Oh, I just remembered we have ONE Behringer Inuke in a Gator case that gets used for SoS... /confessions
