Shure 600Mhz hardware conversion
« on: June 27, 2018, 09:41:33 AM »

I don't remember seeing this posted before, but one of our techs opened wireless workbench and was greeted with a prompt that seemed to indicate Shure has firmware allowing 600Mhz band devices to be reprogrammed to stay complaint.

Seem's to be applicable to J5 or L3 (Axient) , J50 or L50 (ULXD QLXD), or J8 or L8 (PSM1000).

It's the post-600MHz *permanent* change to updateable gear in the affected frequency bands. Doing it will keep your gear FCC legal to use, but you may not need to do it right away.
