PLX2 amp parallel input question
« on: April 03, 2018, 02:45:29 pm »

Does anyone know, or have an educated guess...
stereo L/R inputs with amp set to parallel inputs...
does that properly sum the L & R to avoid having to build a summing circuit?

thanks.

When looking at the manual it is saying for one input so No to properly sum from L & R.   Aux fed with a mono Balanced line would be a good answer.

Kinda what I figured.  The mixer only has balanced outs on the l & r though.  I have ordered resistors to make a summer (suminator?)

No. Parallel Mode does not sum two inputs. In fact, Input 2 should not be connected when in parallel mode. Input 1 will be sent to both channels internally.
