Thanks for the heads up. I'm doubting there will be as much quantity demand on the 902's . Most everyone seems to have ordered 3-8 pieces of the 904

Already have one.  Don't need any more.  Might consider a couple of e906's in May.

Whatever Sennheiser's intentions, it would seem they are lowering the market value of these mics and are likely killing the market for the "more expensive" e6 series (unless someone needs them right away).

This makes more sense when there's a new, improved model on the horizon and manufacturers are just trying to clear old inventory.

... I‘d like to see my 4 e904s that I ordered for the promo price delivered finally.

It seems like the big online retailers around here have serious trouble getting them from their suppliers. My estimated delivery date was mid march, and still nothing sent.

grrrr....
I think they were out of stock when they started the sale!

Me too, or 12 421/441 with free service for ever at the price of one.
Sennheiser still are hideous expensive when it comes to service.

Yes, which is why we no long purchase MD421.  I have a desk drawer full (literally) of non-working MD421 that would cost as much to repair as to replace.  Given their apparent relatively fragile nature and shittiest stand adapter EVAH, we won't replace them.

The promo from Sennheiser is running all year. It will be a different Evolution series mic on sale for $99 every month.

Feb – e865
Mar – e904
Apr – e902
May - e906

So far they have outsold inventory and production capacity. Sennheiser is working to limit massive orders and ramp up production so that more dealers can offer this promo and to protect market price down the road.

Hey Tim,

Just wondering where you've got that information - I can't find that online anywhere!

Cheers,

Hmm 935 or 945
Don't see 914/965 happening although I would be all over them if they would. Not that it matters because the sale appears to be limited to North America.
