These are all great ideas to consider.  So far, the target is moving a bit, so all of these thoughts will be considered.  There is always a compromise between the current, projected needs and possible future expandability.  Extra CAT cables is kind of a no brainer once it's mentioned.  The analog side becomes more problematic from a cost and complication standpoint.  I'd prefer to see a stagebox at each end and use patches to the console.  that way the wear and tear will be easily replaceable.  But then you need to assemble it on site, not just pull it through.
Plus it needs to be rat-proof!

Moisture will condense in the underground conduit as well.  Are there other site considerations - sprinklers, water run off & drainage, etc that need to be examined?

In addition to the CAT cables I would still want to some ole fashion shielded audio pairs as well.

This.  So much this.  Is there a sump at the low end of the pipe with drainage capabilities?

We work at an outdoor amphitheater each summer that has a pipe that is just barely big enough once the mud and the runoff builds up in there over the season.  We use boat/dry bags to cover ends of connectors for the pull through, but it can still get ugly.

Hi, all.

Looking at an install and possibly getting a custom snake made.
I'm looking at two different uses;  small solo/duo acts using an analog board or larger acts using a digital board.
I envision an 8ch or 10ch x 4ret analog snake plus two CAT cables, which can be separate or included.
It will be buried in a pipe as it's outdoors.

I want good quality, and the venue is generally willing to pay for it.

Any thoughts, recommendations?

Thanks! Dave

You may want to add to your list a wall-power extension line from the stage power amp / speaker circuit to FOH so that your mixer/amps can share a common ground..

Power will be hard wired.
I'll make a point to the electrician about ground issues.

John,,

Make it bigger than you think you need!!! I'll bet it will be cheaper in the short and long run. and, someday, it will be needed.

Scott

+1000... touring crews everywhere will rejoice!

And please not four 90 degree sweeps to get from the stage to FOH. And some form of drainage/sump pump.
