Multiable receive antennas
« on: March 06, 2018, 07:16:57 PM »

I have a case with the actors will be going under a large steal frame 8’ high platform
Upstage away from the main acting area,

I am not sure my antenna system will work, so I have to be prepared to add antennas, would the PWS DB series multicupler do the job? What else might I try?
Leaky cable?

Thanks

I would go with the PWS DB series. I think there are other similar devices, but I have only used the 4x1 (many output) PWS coupler.

I agree with Mac in that the PWS DB series is the easiest drop in solution, and very effective for virtually all multiple receive antenna deployments. However, if you have a particularly intricate distributed antenna system with many branches, a piecemeal approach incorporating appropriate directional couplers, splitters, combiners and attenuators throughout the DAS will provide a better result.

A less expensive and quite effective option is the RF Venue 4 ZONE.  https://www.rfvenue.com/products/4-zone
