When I purchased oeegoo's lamp to taking video, there was no flicker and no noise, you can try.

Need some recommendations as lighting is not my forte. Got a request to look into getting some room lights. LED's on the floor to make the walls look pretty for weddings/conventions etc. Non critical and they won't be travelling. Cheap is the key but they do need some power as the room has 35 -40 foot ceiling.

I found this. Seems to have the same power on paper as my Rush MH-2's which are very bright and as a bonus, they move.

LINK

May not be the best solution since the fan probably makes noise.

Why not try RGB strip? It looks pretty and easy to installation. The "LINK" is for stage, but not suitable for room.

You can buy it on Amazon, Aliexpress or others if need low price. For example:

https://www.aliexpress.com/wholesale?catId=0&initiative_id=SB_20180320024154&SearchText=rgb+strip

Not seeing how an LED strip will light up a 30' wall.

You said the light is for wedding or conventions. So I think the brightness is not the most important. But you may need to consider lighting effects more.

And if you want to use LED strip to light up your room. I also think it will let you down if you install white 600LEDs/reel strip on the side wall.
