It would help to know what sort of pattern you are looking for, and also how low in freq that pattern needs to extend.

I have also noted over the years that the same horn can have very different patterns with different model drivers.  And then you can take the same drivers that have a very different coverage on one horn, put them on another horn and now they are essentially the same.

The horn/driver interaction can vary quite a bit

Of course the only true way is to actually put the driver on the horn and measure it.

90x45 and loading down to 400hz. Ish.

Right now I'm having a hard time finding any decent 2" horn.
Something like a RCF950 would be nice.

I'm very interested in finding such a horn too.

Ivan, I'm beginning to see some of the variations you mentioned above....same driver on various horns, and vice versa.
Been playing with a couple different BMS 1.4"s on some horns i happen to have.

Too cold to do any off axis testing, but even on axis inside, I'm measuring differences.
Helge, yes, a 2" of the HF950 would be great..

On Facebook, Jon Norris has posted some pictures of interesting looking horns that he sells.
They are tractix though, with no specified pattern, but should be good to 400hz.

In order to have pattern control down to around 400hz in the 45* plane, the horn would have to be around 55" /21 cm tall..

In the horizontal plane, it would be half that size.

So, control wise to 400Hz, the horn has to be pretty large

I can live with that. I just can't find any ready-made ones that looks great on paper, so it might be easier to go for something else.

He meant to say 55 inches or 139.7cm, which I suspect may be a little impractical for you.
