Hi all,

Our venue is outdoors and covered. It's time to replace our old LED wall and I'm between an outdoor panasonic (lighthouse) billboard style screen and the Absen X5 mobile outdoor product. I'm confident both are great products, however I'm getting some push back about the Absen product holding up being used 18 hours a day, 7 days a week. The back of the screen will be exposed but it is IP54 rated. We planned to cover the back with a blow-though style mesh material as well.

The Absen product is not only less expensive, but I can hang it from truss which allows adjustability based on the various events.

Thoughts?!

Our production company exclusively rents and operates Absen X5, granted we have never used it as extensively as you describe, we've never had any issues with them being used for an extended time. From time to time we have had to replace LEDs but this is a simple fix. Very reliable stuff and can't beat the price! Hope this helps.
