I recently purchased a Waves MAXXBCL on ebay. I purchaed this unit as a back up unit as I have owned a MAXXBCL for quite a few years. The unit I purchased is a late model and is manufactured by New Old Sound.
I took a look at their website and the founder of the company was a hardware engineer at Waves and was part of the team that created the MAXXBCL. New Old Sound appears to be a boutique manufacturer located in Israel (Waves is in Israel as well). Interesting that Waves is having NOS manufacture their hardware units.
These are great pieces of gear!
