Neutrik NAC3MP-HC 32A pre-punched panels?
« on: December 02, 2017, 08:24:51 AM »

I can't seem to find 19" panels for the 32A powercons. Does someone have a source? Looking at the drawing it doesn't look like they will fit the G series cutout. They require 1.2" holes, the G and Ds are around 0.95"....

(I really don't need yet another Greenlee punch!)

TIA,
Mike

I have a set of Unibits that I use when I am just doing 1-2 holes in a panel.

I couldn't find anything Mike, and 1.250" is not a small hole.

By the way, when did they get electricity in Maine???

Maybe here;

The 8 pole speakon connector, STX series is 1.22" dia.
I got some plates from Penn Elcon punched for them.
Maybe that could work as far as hole size......but I'm guessing the mounting screws might be an issue....

Ya, Ive got one of those step bits, wonder if it'll work on 16 gauge...??... Maybe I'll try it...

There's some used 1 3/16" greenlees on evilbay, $15, that's not too bad I guess...

Ive got a drill press that I can do the screw holes, maybe thats what I should do.

Thanks guys!

Step-bit will work fine. Cheap ones may not last as long as the expensive ones, but they will all go thru 16ga, especially if you use a little oil.

Have you considered finding someone locally with a CNC plasma cutter.  That might work.
