I am about to get a pair of subwoofers and i am undecided between the Turbosound Milan M18B and the Behringer Eurolive B1800XP with Turbosound Speaker, any thoughts regarding both ? I felt the behringer gives a louder output but the sound quality in the turbosound is better,

but i am looking for a professional opinion and advise

As tops I have a pair of JBL EON 615.

Two sub 1k MI grade subs.  I am sure both are 1 note wonders.  They may even have the same driver.

The 1800's are MDF and covered in vinyl, they don't hold up well and are heavy. 

Interesting point - these are much cheaper in the states.

I don't find much differentiation between the major vendors on these "price point engineered" subs.  It's a bass reflex sub, you can only do some much with with those few dollars.

I haven't found any budget subs that are good.  Even the KW181 or similar JBL seem cheap.  Something like JTR Orbit Shifters or maybe VTC ELS118 make a good start.  When you consider dollars per decibels, some weight (ha!) to low end extension, sound quality, truck pack, and yes weight - lots of cheap subs vs fewer good subs isn't as cost efficient as it appears.

So it is,  it is also much better constructed than the Behringer, it's painted Birch

To the OP, do you have a preference in bandbass or bass reflex style subs.  They each have a distinctly different sound.

Honestly I don't know any difference, someone told me if i choose bandpass the subs should be placed to the corners of the room, but I am not certain of the differences.

I am in El Salvador in Central America so options are very limited, the best equipment available is JBL, QSC, or DB technologies (everything is super overpriced) which would you recommend ? Thanks for the input, i am sort of new in this world

At this price point, I'd probably go bandpass. The acoustic filtering will lower distortion a little.

The M18B is, or at least was, a decent little portable sub, assuming MG has left them alone that would be my vote. I own some post MG M12's and they have been consistent money makers for me.
