Yes, it's a tourist trap, but I couldn't help myself.

Jackson Browne and I were standing on the corner in Winslow Arizona when a girl in a flat bed Ford slowed down to take a look at me. Take it easy...

We had a show in LA last year and I had to stop and get a pic on the way back.  The Eagles are my all time favorite group.

The first time I stopped in Winslow, none of this touristy stuff was there(in the '60's) since it predated the song.  The best thing Winslow has going for it is proximity to Meteor Crater outside of town.

My presence in Winslow would have been about 1961 or '62.  I don't have a lot of specific memories of the town but my mom told me I was happy when we moved.

Me and my younger brother Roy got kicked by cowboys in Show Low, about 60 miles south east from Winslow for looking like hippies back in 1972...
