But I'm an old guy Henry, and too old to learn new terminology. I told my wife today I seem to be forgetting more every day. Now she wants me to see the doctor. I'm in federal facilities of that type all the time. Leave everything at the door, go in through the vault door through a man trap, everyone covers their systems, etc.. Pain in the ass, but much needed in todays world.

We used cages to tune and align pagers with 1 microvolt sensitivity right under a 250 watt radio with a 6 or 9db gain antenna.  The cages work very well at containing RFI.  I really doubt a full cage for the mix position is practical.

Would replacing the connecters with Neutrik EMC connectors have any effect, I'm sure someone over on the sound on sound forums had problems with the Crystal Palace transmitter near his studio (UHF TV @ 1MW Erp + DAB + FM (relay) + Mobile phone Etc.) and these helped.
