Dangit- I was hoping you were really looking for moon rocks...

[My dad's got one from the Apollo XIII mission! Gift from his brother... who worked at Will Vinton Studios at the time........ as an animator............]

No diaphragms or moon rocks but I have a pet rock named "Lazy" who likes to hang around my shop desk.  ;D

Apollo XIII did a fly by instead of a touch and go.  There was a movie .....

Maybe a different mission?

You guys are killing me...

The clues are all there-- if you see what Will Vinton Studios was/did, and what my uncle's job description is........

It did melt a bit when my dad left it in his office window, but it's labeled, plain as day, "Genuine Moon Rock from Apollo XIII."

Update: It did melt, but my uncle replaced it for Dad.

I've heard rumors of Will Vinton Studios. Something thru the grapevine, anyway.

So your Uncle made the fake movies that NASA used to dupe the public?
