Seconded on more information about new LMR rulings, I've somehow missed all of that.
Additionally, WMBC out of NJ is operating TV18 with no repack and a contour over all of NYC per FCC data.

Interesting on the LMR Band. Thats a standard band elsewhere in the world. Do you still have 380-450 for LMR too? Did you ever have that?

All of a sudden, non UHF solutions are starting to look interesting...

Here's another compilation from Lectro.  Kevin Parish Notes these charts do not address locations where LMRS exists by virtue of special temporary authority. Here again, we must not rely solely upon single source inter mod software programs when planning ops for the larger cities where T-Band LMRS exists.

In a crowded environment like NYC which is also likely to have temporary LMRS authority situations [i'm not saying taht well, but you know what i mean], what is the best practice for intermod coordination in that situation.  If i'm not mistaken, LMRS are often intermittent use frequencies and as such can be difficult to pick up on a RF analyzer sweep.

Is there a source to find out who might have operating licenses in these areas?  I understand there is always the possibility of rogue radio running around as well.  Just trying to figure out how we address these situations.

Here in Chicago we know that 14 and 15 are reserved for emergency services and such. After the repack there won't be a TV station on 16, but does that mean that 16 will be reserved for LMR instead?

Important to note that Joe Ciaudelli made that repack graphic arbitrarily, and that is not of any specific city. His premise is correct, we are about to get the short end of the stick, but I have not found a single city yet that will have fewer than 4 open TV channels. Whether or not those are white space is another matter.

But still loaded in the barrel are the LPTV repack, and these potentially new LMR allocations.
