Behringer help
« on: February 06, 2017, 11:53:13 PM »

So a friend of mine who has been running his own church festival for a decade had Behringer LD6230 dimmers rigged for single phase and were running fine until... some goofball decided it was better to have the generator set for three phase. Behringer tech support hasn't really been help full, anyone know of a place to were I can send them to get fixed.

Not sure any repair facilities know how to reconstitute smoke into electronics.

On the good side a little judicious Flea Bay hunting should net you some DMX dimmers for next to nothing.  Not exactly in demand technology.

For the price of a repair you could get some LED fixtures.

It's probably not the answer you want to hear, but it's probably cheaper just to replace them than deal with repairs.  Like Scott said, if you choose to continue using dimmers they can be found used in good condition for a very reasonable price.  Good luck!
