Turbosound TMS4- HIgh Freq replacements. Cd103
« on: January 22, 2017, 03:14:14 AM »

Does anyone knows if the old turbosound cd103 compression drivers fit in the tms4 cabs?
The turbosound component lists says the tms4 used cd103 sometimes in the past, but not shure. I have some cd103 drivers broken that i might be able to find a diaphragm for them.

If cd103 dont work...,Need a replacement for high frequency in these cabinets and dont know what to use and where to find them. Any suggestions?

CD 103 is EV DH3.  Diaphragms are readily available from EV.  If you have boxes with earlier CD102 you will have a harder time.  They are bolt on 1" Beymas.

Do your TMS4's still have the dual throat adapters?  If so, removing those and installing a 2" throat, 4 bolt driver is an option.

Hi Dave, how ya doing?  Pretty sure the dual 1" adapters was only a feature of TMS-3.

FWIW -

CD101 = Beyma CP-300
CD102 = Beyma CP350-16 ohm
CD182 = Beyma CP-350-8 ohm
CD103 = Electrovoice DH-3
