Chauvet Intimidator Spot LED 350 Road Case
« on: December 13, 2016, 03:06:33 PM »

We have purchased 4 used Chauvet Intimidator Spot LED 350 movers.  I am looking for a solid road case that will hold two of these and is stackable.  So all together for these we will need 2 case each holding 2 lights.  Anyone have a good recommendation for a company that makes a case for these?  I would like for the case to be 1/2" since these will be bouncing around the back of a box truck roughly 40,000 miles a year.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Get the cases from Chauvet. We have 4x Intimidator Beam LED 350 lights that we bought in a bundle with the cases. Photos:

+1 for Andrew.  The Chauvet cases are well built.  I'm certain there are also some really heavy duty cases from some of the custom guys, but the Chauvet are decent . . . just remove the "DJ" part of the logo!

Not exactly on topic, but 4 of the Chauvet DJ Intimidator 350 zoom wash lights fit well into an Audiopile C006DC road case. The lights remain in the OEM fitted styrofoam packaging, and are loaded 2 x 2. I have a center divider, and a little bit of ethafoam to snug things up. Low tech, but inexpensive and pretty compact. As a weekend warrior, I can live with the futz factor of the styrofoam packaging.

As a fellow weekend warrior, I transport 4 Martin Minimacs in a similar way. 4 to a road trunk, with some custom cut foam inbetween.

I now have 8 of the 350s and all cases are BC. The fit the fixtures with the brackets and half-couplers installed. No room for accessories though.
