It looks like a decent product; however, they are pretty late to the game.  IMO they have a pretty steep hill to climb to catch the rest of the pack.

I do like the direct recording feature.  I expect that this will become as standard as digital gains and motorized faders over the next couple of years for all digital consoles.

It is nice to see Presonus coming to the table with a competitive offering.

Looks reasonable.  Customizable fat channel looks dank. I like the 24/8 fader split.  7" color touch screen - about the size of IPad mini.

$2600 is a reasonable price.

I had 1 power supply failure issue with one of my first 2 16.4.2 consoles. Repaired under warranty. Stuck it out and went to the 24.4.2, then the 24.4.2AI, then the RM32, then added a CS18. No show-stopping issues since the first one. The only reason I switched to the M32/X32 line was the features. I'm looking forward to seeing this new Presonus, but it is indeed a little late in the game.

This is where they should have been when they brought out their AI line.  This looks nice, but is about 3 years too late IMO.

That's cool. Try calling support. "You are now in the Live Sound support Que...'
That's your cue to go get lunch!

True. I've heard email is the way to get ahold of them better.

3 years?  Wasn't the RM32ai released in 2014 and the CS18ai released last year?

Whatever the math works out to. I bought the RM the January after it was released and the CS a year ago. Is it only 2 years?

Stand corrected. Released oct 2014. Bought mine Jan 2015, no problems yet. Have had the CS for a year.

No issues with any mixers so far.

True. I've heard email is the way to get ahold of them better.

Even then you are put into a different action...and even though you get an email response, you still have to log in...etc. The basic reason I have done business with Community for decades. Call up...30 seconds later a tech is on the phone with you. I realize Presonus may be a lot bigger, but if I have products I paid for...and can't use for months at a time...that pisses me off.
