Thank you Nimrod,

glad to see it can work fine.  Sure makes tilting easy  :)

Hi Mark,

The BT12's are wonderful, very well made and engineered, and I had great service from Nimrod.  I use them on the DIY double 12; the boxes are a little tall but they work fine provided that you limit the tilt angle to about 5 degrees

Dave, you are spot on. If the cab is supported right under the COG, the forces and stresses on the top hat are minimal.

 :)

My tilted COG would be 1.4" forwards of the centre of the pole. I think that's a small enough offset that I wouldn't need to worry about it, but I'd like to be sure.

Peter, are those custom made?
I can find brand-specific ones, which are usually very expensive and the wrong size. Perhaps it's time to start talking to someone who can weld...

Hi Peter, yep, those BT12's really look nice.  Good to know the tilt range that works with the DIY's.....thx.
I see the BT12 has a COG range of 8-14".  A 5 degree limit for the DIY's makes sense, given the DIY's COG at 18-19" .....

I REALLY like the yoke you made....!
