Looks ok but still limited information as to wireless control. Don't see an android app.

TF StageMix was just updated to include the rack. It's one of the best iPad control apps out there. There's also Mac and PC editors for online and offline, and a simplified iPhone app. Yamaha doesn't do Android.

MAP around $2000.

Ouch,  Allen & Heath QU PAC-32 Street $1499, X32 Rack-$1199. Yamaha Rack MAP at $2000 would be street at $1799? I want to like it as I have a couple of yamaha digital mixers but price seems a little high.

3 rack spaces.  16 in, 16 out, all the busses & features of the other TF mixers.  Dante card slot like the others.

Something I didn't know about the TF mixers - in addition to the two dedicated effects busses, each mix buss has its own effects engine built-in. So you can turn an unused aux into another effects, or you can have a multiband compressor or whatever on an IEM mix.

MAP around $2000.

The FX on the busses is also the workaround for input delays for things like syncing video/audio playback.  Unroute the input channels from the master, route the channels to that bus and route that bus to the master.  It works, though not as handy as delay on the input.

When the call was made to go with the TF for that app (it was replacing a rental DM1k), we were looking at the QL as well and while the Dugan would be nice to have, for video playback the delay was a requirement.  IIRC the QL was just south of $20k, the TF was $3-3 1/2k or so.  For a desk we use 2-3 times a month the PTB decided it wasn't work it.

Depends on your needs, really. The TF does has a lot of auxes for that class and 16 outputs on the base unit.

Also, looks like it can mix 32 inputs.   Similar to the TF1, it has 16 XLR inputs on the rear panel, and you can add 16 more via the Dante NY-64 interface card and the TIO-1608 stagebox.

They claim 40, but they're counting the 2 stereo effects and an invisible second stereo line input. Looks like 34 to me.

They claim 32 mono, 2 stereo, and 2 stereo FX returns. Anything over 16 mic in and 1 RCA stereo in requires the Dante card and I/O based on Dante to add the additional 18 external input channels.
