Hanging 4 Slimpar 64 on the tee bar in a trailer
« on: August 09, 2016, 11:19:29 AM »

Hey Everyone

Does anyone have a solution for haging 4 slimpars on the T-bars in a trailer ???

Maybe a cargo bar with hooks ???

Any experience to keep these things safe and not bag them in ARubia bags and lay them on each other ??

Thanks again

Yes, I've been doing that for years.

I have eye bolts on the light bars which are also the bolts for the far L/R fixtures. I drilled holes in the "ribs" in the trailer were I installed some eyebolts that are horizontal. I then have some small spring loaded clips that I hang the bars from.

The fixtures are bolted to the bar. I can hang the whole thing on some hooks I have in the garage when I don't need them for a gig

I can hang 4 sets of lights. They are far enough apart that they don't bang into each other.

The eye bolts on the light bars also come in handy for hanging the light bars for the show, if you can do that at the venue.

Hope that makes since. I would get a picture but it's all in the trailer.

Edit:
Found a picture. Blow it up and I think you can tell

Nice.

Just one suggestion.

I tried using hooks before and the light bars "jumped" off the first good bump in the road I hit. Might want to tie them to the hook somehow.
