I would worry about those ends slipping out. What if something caught the drape while you were lowering the uprights?

I know the standard system isn't that much better but it can't just lift straight out.

That's nice, but I don't think it's worth my time or money refitting my inventory. Aside from allowing the horizontal pipes to be at the top of the uprights for a slightly cleaner look, it does not offer me any other reason to change from the standard fittings.

Also, they don't make any adapters for standard 8' high pipe (like for expo booths) so a company with both types of uprights like myself would need 2 different horizontal bars.

Good concept, just not for me.
