Hopefully folks on this board will get hands-on time with the new BBE board soon, then we'll know if it's a serious piece of pro gear or MI level.

MI?

One can get an X32-Producer for $1200.  I think it will do.

Really? Where from? Seems too cheap.

This thread is from 2014?! Are you aware of that?

The BBE mixer is still for sale and therefore
the year the thread is from is irrelevant. Are you aware of that?

Why are they "basically taboo and factored more as a gimmick?"
BBE is the maker of the "Sonic Maximizer" - one of the most infamous pieces of audio snake oil. Their intentional deception via their "bypass" mechanism pretty much ruins their reputation in professional circles.

Being snarky 4 posts in to a new community is not a great way to make friends (welcome, by the way).

It's not necessarily a problem resurrecting an old thread, but sometimes it's better to start a new thread with your specific comment or question which keeps the thread more on track.

To be fair, it was a snarky response to a snarky comment. I'd agree with you if I started the 'snarkiness.'

Even if I was quoting people's posts?

You were asking where you could get an x32 for a price based on a 2014 post that you quoted almost two years later? I don't consider that still relevant.

It is not the first or last time a new user missed the date of a thread. If you consider me for being snarky for pointing this out then good luck to you... Yes, now I was being snarky!

So the mixer is a piece of shit and it's only claim to fame is the debunked Sonic Maximizer.

Also this discussion should have been moved to the Lounge forum when it first posted.
