Gotta love any piece of equipment that has the letters "BF" as part of model number!

I was thinking of a Showco BFM series of monitors, in that case BF stood for something other Belch Fire!

You need to get one of the Cal Jam amps for your collection.......or has that need already been filled.

I would LOVE to have one.  I have been looking for one for several years.

Unfortunately I can't afford it at this time.  Especially the shipping

You need to go for an extended holiday.  First to England to pick up one of my Studiomaster amps, then back home via California for one of these.  I'm sure they would both fit in a back pack!!

Another piece of 'seemed like a good idea at the time' technology.  Something like an old Yamaha PM2000 with that characteristic sound of the transformers and discrete opamps I can see keeping around.  Power amps, meh less so.

One on each side in the middle of the aircraft so as not to unbalance it!

This is for Ivan's "Wall of Phlame".  Some folks collect Hummels, Ivan collects iconic amps.

Not all the amps are "flames" just a couple.

Specifically the phase linear 200-400-700

The BGW7000

Crown MT1000 (the original one)

BOSE (not sure of model but 400 watt/channel and over 100lbs)

Those are the amps I "loved to hate" back when I was a bench tech

Not historical, but here are some amps that were part of a DJ system being used at Panorama. It was apparently designed by some famous DJ, and with 7 stacks like this around the room it sounded pretty damn good. I was more impressed with the amps. I'd love to have some of these at home.

Mac's are pretty but kind of blurry sounding compared to other things.  You want something like this at home.

Weren't they just labeled as "BOSE Power Station" ??
Used an Adamson rig 20 or 25 years ago with a couple of racks of them.
In the 2 years I was there, never had to bench one of them.

The one I have is the 1800.  400 watts per channel.

I have repaired a good number of them back in the 80s.

One of them came to me with a hole burnt through the circuit board that you could drop a silver dollar through.

NO-I CANNOT fix that---------
