I have a v372 ds and I like to use it with my synths but also to have the possibility to use it as a mic pre-amp with phantom power. Is it possible to do so and does it has a good result?

It is a preamp from an old studio console.  I don't have knowledge of how this preamp sounds only what people have told me but, it will only give you as good a sound as the rest of your system is capable of producing. It won't make a terrible sounding mixer sound better.
