John, Now that you mention it the Pro (paid) version does offer additional options over the free one. I started with the Pro version from the beginning.

Anyone using Mixing Station who hasn't been over to the B forums should definitely check it out.  There's tons of great info over there.  Paid version is a whopping 5 bucks.

My favourite way with the x32 however is to use the computer app and sit at empty seats with a laptop. You're able to see the whole surface that way.

I'm somewhat in the "mixing on an ipad is loathsome" camp. 

The only things that could be worse are mixing from a bad location and dealing with snakes.

ie, the ipad sucks less than my other options under some common circumstances.

I'm very happy with my Samsung Galaxy Tab in an Otterbox with the swiveling hand-hold thingy.  Sorry, but I'm too lazy to find links
