Yes I advocate using these for backline power,, while you can get smaller ones than 20A probably cheaper, to use several spread across the back line.

If you run everything through one GFCI drop, leakage currents from multiple products will be cumulative and could exceed the 5ma trip threshold.

I agree. Just drop one of these for each musician and you're in business. But sharing a single GFCI for the entire back line is asking for trouble.

I thought SJTW wasn't a type of cable accepted for stage use.
