I've noticed over the last couple years that Yamaha runs a couple of special offers each year reducing the cost of or adding free stuff with the CL/QL consoles. I'm looking to purchase a QL5 before the end of August. Has anyone paid attention to when Yamaha has run these specials? Any scuttle butt of any offers that might run over the summer?

Yamaha just added some more features with the latest firmware upgrade (4.01).

Dealers (I work for one) will of course not be able to give you any special access to upcoming sales promotions.  FWIW we don't tend to hear about them very far in advance either.
