The second pic with the mural behind looks really nice. That is excellent use of uplighting.

Where are the front spots mounted?

If you look to the right of the  picture you can just make out the T stand with a Hex 6
on it, (mirrored on the other side).
The central 2 up lights were on a slowly changing pattern with the outer  Quad 6's on fixed
colour's.

I see them now - very dark over there. That's a better angle than mine, which are speaker mounted. I typically can't have light stands sitting out there as my gigs have a lot of crazy & drunk people up close to the stage :-)

I recently did the same with some uplighting at a show. The band had scrims with their logo on it, so I place a single flat par under each one with the slow, color fade running. It looked great, especially on break when the main light show was off.
