Shrink wrap labels for snake
« on: April 07, 2016, 12:02:39 PM »

So I am considering shortening a drop snake 8X4 as I got it at a great price but it is 100'. 50' is more than enough. I can make a fan from the left over. Am looking for numbers and letters shrink wrap for the fan ends. Anyone have a source?

Thanks A

I make labels with my Brother label maker and use clear heat shrink (with adhesive) over them.

They look good, I can put whatever I want on them, and they stay nice for a long time.

Yep, that works, though I've found it's a good idea to do a test one first as I've seen some tapes shrivel and melt from the heat. I've also printed labels on plain or colored paper and put them under clear heat shrink...they will last a really long time as long as the heat shrink makes a good seal.
