Any of our European brethren familiar with the UHF-TV spectrum in the Monaco? What frequency range(s) is/are available for wireless mics?
Thank you in advance.
Hi Henry,
out of curiosity, I went to do a Postal Code Lookup for Monaco in Wireless Workbench. I knew already WWB6 has France data, but didn't know about Italy, as Monaco being really close to both countries. What I found is way to surreal to be explained by words:
If Italy data is accurate, Monaco is a tough one...
France data is still similar to November 2014. The next image has a scan from Nice, which is France biggest town close to Monte Carlo. Seems there are a couple new occupied channels now.
Italy has the lead in number of occupied TV channels. My home Country, Portugal has the least occupied TV spectrum in Europe. This is a graph with only national channels (no local, no regional)
Barcelona, where I live, is preety much packed, except for the 700Mhz band which soon will be taken from us: second digital dividend and all. Still not as bad as the US after the auction your country is about to undertake...
Hope this sheds some light. Send pictures of your scans in Monaco.
Cheers
D
