I'm trying to figure out what the practical application would be to having multiple Smaart windows open and active at the same time. Seems like a cool feature, I just don't know how I would use it.

If you have a couple of mic's on a job you can for instance have each mic in it's own window with RTA/Spectograph running.
Or 1 window doing RTA/spectograph the other doing a transfer on the same mic.....

I have been an advocate of multimic measurement for many years.

I think it would be much better to have all of the traces overlaying each other on a single screen (like V7 has) than to have to look at different places to see how they are similar or different.

In a live situation I can see your second point.

As of now-from what I have read about the differences, it is not something I will upgrading to.

I guess it depends on the price though.

But others have different usages-so it may be better for them.  Hard to say right now.

I want to see the drone option to control the flight of a drone around the venue with a wireless mic.

I have been wanting that for years-but years ago I figured a blimp would do it.

I could also imagine sending one up with a camera to get info off of a hang without using a lift.

I wonder if Steve Payne has thought of this. He does a good bit of remote flying.

I was told once that this is the reason that some people like SpectraFoo, that it will display all 3 modes at  the same time.

I've not used it, so I don't know.
