B&C driver replacement
« on: March 02, 2016, 03:55:15 PM »

Hello all,             I'm looking to replace some damaged B&C 8" drivers in some Nexo Geo 8 array cabs .Short background.....I just came on at this venue, major complaint was severely degraded audio. Got on the lift to do a visual, found 5 of 8 B&C 8" drivers torn up .Looked like they were used as subs ! I think at one time , someone had bypassed the Nexo controller and ran the hang full range . Ouch .  Prior management had a quote for replacement 8" drivers at $500 each. The part #s on the drivers must be nexo part numbers ,as they don't match anything else I've looked up . This is whats on the drivers : B&C HPB 8ND-HF / GEO S  . if anyone can shed some light on this ,it would be much appreciated .

B&C makes custom drivers for some manufacturers, other manufacturers just use the standard models, and some others put their own numbers on the standard models.

A photo would help narrow things down.

But sometimes a driver may "look" just like another-but yet on the inside there are differences.

Eminance makes some decent gear.

Just be sure to ALSO compare price when comparing quality.
