I have one of my clients with a few of these deployed with the AKG IVM4500 IEM's, which also has a mode for the application... works like a charm.

I know that Shure has a 'Mode' that you put the units in to do this with  a PSM900/1000 and a UHFR receiver.  With the Sennheiser, do you just set the transmitter to Mono and away you go?  or is there some other trick?

Mono mode and away you go!

what is the best way to send a wireless line level signal from FOH mix position to mains amplifiers or powered delay speakers
Thanks in advance Nick H

Here is an interesting transmission method.  http://www.xirium.net/xirium-pro/en

Self contained, AES/Dante/Line level
5 gHz band
Repeaters available
internal battery

I was just talking to our buddy Jeff about these the other day, Peter.  The starter kit cost isn't terribly high for the feature set.  Have you had a chance to play with them in a real world environment yet?
