Neutrik Xiriium X

Looking at the info on these I can think of a lot of situations where they would come in handy for us.  Has anyone seen any pricing/projected pricing?  I can't find that info online.  Thanks.

It wasn't quite clear to me about the selector switch use.
Looks like the switch has a Master position and 2 or 3 or 4.
What exactly does this indicate?

I used the earlier version of this unit a couple of years ago and it needed full line of site to operate.

It was being used on a job in a very crowded restaurant to link less than 10 metres to the reception area.  Where an IEM TX would've been fine, with the Xirium we suffered dropouts all evening.

Each Tx unit gets set to Master and all the Rx units that need to receive the same audio get set to the same number. You can have four sets of Tx/Rx at once, each with different audio.

A solution at about the same price point as an IEM/MIC solution is pretty much a yawn.

Make it a third the price (eg, a hypothetical Behringer "X-Link" product) and still good and it's suddenly interesting.
