Dear readers,

Abdul says Hello.  Something awakened in him this weekend and he just wanted to touch base.
You’ve not heard from him for a few years, have you? Abdul has been away and involved in “religious training.”
He is now better prepared to die; finger on the trigger, and just wanted to preemptively say “I’m sorry.”

No, not that! Abdul is a life-affirming individual. He wouldn't do that. It's just that in light of recent events, he wanted to apologize for his participation.

When Donald Trump spews hatred to a large crowd, and let me say Donald Trump is FAN-tastic at spewing hatred, bigotry, and xenophobia to large crowds, even the Donald needs sound reinforcement and someone to design a system to get his message across. Someone needs to operate the system, and someone needs to cash the check.

Abdul is sorry.

As much as I enjoyed seeing The Abdul back, seeing The Hammer back made me smile more.  Season's greetings to you Charlie, I thought about you just the other day - good to see your name pop up!

Yup, me too.
1 : Why isn't it in the basement?.
2 : Why haven't the BSDs (big swinging ....s) clobbered it like they do any other unfortunate sod who stumbles in here using a handle instead of a real name?.

Abdul has been a valued member here from the beginning, and he will continue to be. His information presented with humor will always be welcome. (Or is it humor presented with information?)

The mystery of Abdul wafts through the air like the scent of drying figs in the desert. Many of us have followed his posts, which are always and will always be welcomed. However, few have lifted the veil and gazed upon his wise and knowing face. May he always be in possession of a two humped camel, and may his ride across the dunes be blessed by the sands of time.

Like a dry dessert wind, the wisdom of Abdul draws the gnats out of the tent.

This whole Abdul thing is driving me gnats. But I do find it humorous. I suppose it's an inside thing that some of us will never enter.
Or perhaps enlightenment will come at the series closer.

I'm kinda watching from the outside as well.
Never quite figured out what was going on. ???
