You might remember an erstwhile labster by the name of Andy Peters - often used a sig that went something like "insightful and inciteful" - and he wasn't joking about the latter...

Always amuses me when people get bent out of shape by some of the more "robust" rebuttals these days - cos by the old standard they're absolutely nothing  ;)

Coincidentally Andy is also member over at that design forum too...

No it's not a home away from home for old LABees, but both Andy and Gene know their way around electronic circuits so chime in from time to time about designs.

Andy is not as acerbic there with his responses as he could be here sometimes, but perhaps he has mellowed out some since having a child, or not? Back in the day you needed a thick skin and sharp wits.

  Hello Rob et al....

Andy is alive and well.  His sharp tongue is just as sharp, but more reserved in use.. hehe

   Have a great day!

He just posted a few minutes ago over on that design forum http://groupdiy.com/index.php?topic=61411.msg777780#msg777780

Nothing as entertaining as his former language/grammar pedantry, just helping some newbie figure out a power supply, but he's alive and well in "sunny Tucson".

Abdul-EQ is the wind, and we are the lion.

I am so deeply entertained by the wit of the desert surfer that I break wind like a lion.

It is good to have Abdul back at the oasis tent.

Best regards,

John
