Help getting sound for a movie night
« on: November 01, 2015, 08:05:39 pm »

We are running a series of movie nights and we already have everything ready except we ran the first one and we really want the extra quality blu ray offers.

the problem is that after a law passed in 2011 all new bluray players cant output component and because our projector does not have a working audio pass through the only way is to rip the audio from the hdmi some how.

any ideas,

I have adapters so I will take anything from 3.5mm to speakon if needed.

Please go to your profile and change the "Name" field to your real full name as required by the posting rules clearly displayed in the header at the top of the section, and in the Site Rules and Suggestions in the Forum Announcements section.

Thanks,

I'm so old, when I was doing FOH for Tommy Dorsey, to balance out the horn section I would slide their chairs downstage and upstage to mix!
