sc48 3.0 kit
« on: October 21, 2015, 07:32:19 PM »

Hey everyone,

I've been working on a friend's inventory, which includes an sc48 running version 2.8.1 software.  He'd like to make it more current, and has asked me to upgrade it.  I don't have an Avid account and can't seem to find any pricing info for the 3.0 upgrade kit.  Anyone have a ballpark cost?

Thanks,

JF

IIRC it was US$150.  It doesn't seem to be in the AVID store anymore, but I'm sure a call to Venue Support can get you a copy or referred to the right department.  You will need the serial number of the console when you order.  After you install 3.0, download the 3.1 update and install it followed by your plug ins.

While updating it to 3.1 will get you to the latest OS, if you have visiting BE mix on the desk, they will also expect it to have the Venue Pack 4 plugin bundle, which is quite a bit more expensive.
