Have narrowed it down to these two subs....Using (4) RCF HDL 20s for highs....RCF subs are bigger and about $2500 more for a pair...both have pole mounts which is a requirement for me....Application is mobile dj...Would love some feedback...I would also consider DB DVA S30...Mostly EDM, hip hop music...Any other subs I should be looking at...FWI I owned the Danley TH 118's and liked them a lot but not sure I would go with them again for an active sub...

I own the Yorkville LS2100Pb's and they are phenomenal! Most powerful and musical powered, single driver subs I have heard to date.

So I read they have 1/4" inputs only?

I have a pair of sub8006 that I run with my hdl20 tops , they are fantastic subs. I prefer them to the s30, they go fairly lower and to me are more musical sounding boxes. Killer output and great features, you won't regret them.

Nick do you run a pole mount directly off the subs to the tops? I was hoping I can stay away from tripods and put 2 hdl 20s and come right off the sub

I worked with the 800p this weekend and its credible how much low end it puts out...I can't even imagine what the 21" sounds like...It was too boomy for my taste and not tight enough...How much eq'ing are you doing to yours?

I can do 2 per side, with the k&m distance rods.... It's a little difficult getting them up there but it works well.

I was concerned about the weight with the threaded poles...I am using the jbl versions

I never tried with the threaded poles , only have done it with the k&m adjustable distance rod poles. Works well with these , it's not a m20 thread pole... Just a normal one... If that makes sense
