X32 Compact, X32 Rack, Qu16, previously had Yamaha LS9. No failures yet.

The X32 did have that static issue once before the whole "shielded, Ethercon" requirement was clear. None since.

The X32 Rack gets daily use, the Qu16 weekly, the X32 Compact 4 or 5 times per year.

DigiCo SD9 - lost communication with MADI rack, show stopper.

DigiCo SD7 - surface lock up, required reboot.

Soundcraft Delta - power supply failure during sound check.  Required internal grounding modification to lower noise floor.

Soundcraft Vienna 2 - PSU meltdown after output modules release Majik Smok.  Show stopper for opera performance.

Heritage 3K - automation lock up requiring a hair dryer and console restart to correct (don't let the dew do your Heritage).  Show stopper.

Yamaha PM3000 - PSU failure, finished show on back up.

Peavey MK IV - no failures, no repairs.

BiAmp 1642 - no failures, no repairs.

In past couple years-
About 50% of X32 mixers, small sample size of about 6.  AES50 physical jacks breaking, XLR jacks (supposedly fixed now), and faders.  Faders are supposedly an easy fix, belt slips off, but it voids warranty.  Had one recently with low output level from one output, headphone jacks were bad (high noise/low signal), and the aides didn't work.

1 or 2 DOA Behringer S16 boxes.

No issues with A&H Qu series mixers, or GLD.  One DOA iDR rack, and heard of 2 iLive surfaces that needed repair (churches we worked with, but they handled repairs directly).

One Midas Pro3 had corrosion out of the case.

2 M7CL problems, more than 2 years ago, one had bad screen, I don't remember the other issue.

Most consoles we use now are A&H, they have the lowest problem percentages.

Local church with a Vi6 had numerous issues with it.

X32 Compact, no failure with about 125 shows on it. Had a bad CAT5 cable though, spare solved that. Only show stoppers have been analog desks, Midas and A&H.

X32 Rack.  No issues.

I got one of the first units off the boat here in the US (I believe it was around October 2013).

So.... 3 years.  Used weekly.

My previous analog mixer (MixWiz) had 1 bad channel that I repaired myself.... but that was after 10 years of no issues at all.

Early Presonus 24.4.2 died during soundcheck due to failed power supply.
Early Presonus 16.0.2 fader "dancing" and went full then silent during show.  All was OK if I stayed off the iPad... Repair still pending.
QSC Touchmix 16 - bricked an early version of the firmware. QSC overnighted replacement mixer.

No problems with A&H QU16.

Presonus 16.4.2 - Several dramatic failures with loud POP then no audio... temporarily fixed by rebooting but would recur more and more frequently. Fixed permanently(?) by reseating internal ribbon cables and resoldering dodgy looking PSU connections. Also many bad faders, eventually replaced all faders on the board.

Soundcraft Si Performer 2 - Console control surface froze completely, but continued passing audio (fixed by a painfully slow reboot during a show). Another time an FX engine crashed and output full volume white noise during a show (ouch!), fixed by switching the FX algorithm on that FX engine.

Soundcraft Si Performer 3 - Two bad faders so far (about 8 months old, but heavily used).

Soundcraft Si Expression 3 - no failures

AR2412 stage box for GLD--power supply failure. Not a show stopper because the box powered up... eventually (just took like 15 minutes). Fixed under warranty and our dealer provided a replacement while ours was out for repair.

Soundcraft Si Impact: Touch screen and associated single encoder got stuck on a single function while adjusting FX. Would not exit that function to go to any other menus. Desk continued to pass audio and the other encoders/faders worked. Fixed with reboot.

Behringer X32 Compact: Upon bootup, one fader was non-functional in the output section. Started working after about an hour of uptime. Has worked fine ever since.

AVID SC48: Used console after it returned from week long rental. Six input faders were non-functional. Required replacement, completed in shop.
