If I'm not mistaken, Samick made some mixers for Carvin ways back (90s?)
Maybe you can find a sister model and its power supply.

I do have to ask...Was it an impulse buy?  You bought a used mixer on Craigslist without so much as turning it on (since no power supply), let alone not testing it.

What would be the recording use for it?  How would it integrate into your recording rig.  It's likely to be kind of noisy for recording.  Do you have a multitrack recorder that requires mixing down?

Paint Behringer on it, put it on Ebay, and sell it for $250. Someone will buy it.

LoL. actually that market has dried up.  You can't give away analog, especially low end stuff.  Even decent low end like the Allen and Heath GL2400-32 with a case didn't sell for $400

A couple of years ago, Solotech offered me a PM-3000-48 tour pack, delivered, for $2,500
That kinda said big analog is dead, and buried.

Long Island's Westhampton Beach PAC has a pristine Soundcraft MH3-48@FOH. The house has made using other desks simple, with Ramlatch disconnect & spare fanout, but more than 1/2 the national artists coming through use it and leave their digitals (AVID, Digico, Yamaha, Midas) on the truck.

With tools, their value is in use (think hammer) vs. value in exchange (think diamond).

It doesn't help with your dilemma, but here is the manual:
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=http://www.delchambre.be/ventes/Samick_SM_242P/Delchambre_Frederic_Samick_242P.pdf&ved=0CCgQFjACahUKEwieop2X1LbIAhVNO4gKHR1wAeY&usg=AFQjCNGSoF1LPkA_qpS_5hHsq55-DPuZiA&sig2=O0soyPqgzx2rT5AJYHN6WQ

Sorry about the huge link, I'm on my tablet, which doesn't allow an advanced reply. It does have 48v phantom power if that helps any electrical whizes.
