...assuming your AP can handle that many connections - some can't.

If you need enterprise level performance you need enterprise-level access point.... or at least better than units aimed at home use (no matter the price tag).

Yes.  IIRC you can have 1 computer connection and 8 tablets simultaneously connected.
That's interesting, because IIRC you can have four connections, any mix of tablets or other things.  I've had a quick scout in the documentation and cant find a definitive answer...
