Podium mic to phantom to wireless body pack

Does anyone know if this would work?

I have an Audio Technica boundry mic ( AT871R) and I want to use it on a podium and be wireless.

If I hook the mic into an AT 8531 phantom, then into a lavaleir transmitter ( senheiser SK100). Would the phantom overpower the transmitter or distort or blow it up ?

You could skip the PZM and just use the lav mic in a boundary config.

If you want to maximize the battery life of the transmitter, add a battery phantom supply between the pack and the mic. I have done this many times in order to get lecterns quickly on and off stage.
