So the TIC10D is an SCR-Thyristor, but the schematic drawing shows an NPN transistor.

Something doesn't add up.

I think the diagram is one Richard drew himself assuming it was a transistor before he realised it was a thyristor.

A SCR is not very useful for commutating DC current... you can turn a SCR on but not off...  A power transistor OTOH can switch on and off.

I dunno finally caught the one guy in town who actually knows whats what for older control circuits, replaced the diodes and SCR with 1000volt 6 amp and all working now. Just waiting on the limit switches to arrive from ebay. $15 each delivered is much friendlier than $50 each plus freight from the place that made the machine. Exact part number too go figure.

Now would anyone happen to have a copy of exhaust tubing bender pattern cards on CD?

Looking at retiring. Local PA market has shrank to 2 guys with guitars and bose l1 compacts or expecting full line array and 16 movers on stage for $300... no middle left going back to event DJ stuff, half the work for twice the pay.

Considering some of the news from the past couple of months, I keep misreading the title of this thread as "transgender cross dress question".  :o

Wow, I haven't used one of those in over 30 years. Looooong before CD's were around  :)
It was a lot of fun making up custom exhaust systems. Just a little bending and flanging here and there to get from the header collectors and crossover pipe out over the axle to the tail.
Amazing how a couple of simple tailpipes kept the cops off your ass, even if they were 3" pipes, and loud as hell.
Richard, thanks for the memories...
Chris.

Ya, Whatever. Just throw a '57 on it, and get off my stage.
