I got to the Bay Area far to late to have witnessed actual use of The Wall, but routinely worked with bass players who swore their stage speaker(s) came from it.  "Grandpa" Lee Brenkman has probably seen more actual pieces of it on stage than anyone I can think of.

This thread is only five years old...

Here is a recent video showing the long relationship between the Dead and Meyer Sound. Moderator is Merlijn van Veen, guests are 606 McCarthy, Derek Featherstone (CEO of Ultrasound), John Meyer, and Bob Weir.

The first 20 minutes or so is Wall of Sound, then it shows every level of their connection until now.
