Allen & Heath ME
« on: June 21, 2015, 08:41:03 PM »

I'm seriously considering the Allen & Heath ME1 personal mixers.  Can someone tell me how the Me-U has to be setup for Dante?  It seem like you can only buy it in one configuration, and then you have to add some Dante card.  I'm not sure what card that is.

The ME-U distro has a card slot.  That slot comes stock populated with the dSnake (?) card.  You buy the Dante card, swap cards, and now the ME-U takes in Dante and splits out to the ME-1's.

Thanks. I'm assuming the only Dante card is the Allen & Heath M-Dante Interface Card.  I'll look into that route.
