My favorite rack screws were the #2 square/Robinson
Robertson.
They're Canadian and far superior to Phillips. Very popular in Canada but relatively unheard of in the USA. Much like the Caesar.

Splines are also called Bristols by some, although in actuality they are different entities.  The double square and triple square are not splines, but to the eye look to be the same.  (If you want to disassemble a Hammond run motor and vibrato scanner, you need a Bristol.)  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_screw_drives

Haven't seen a Bristol in years.  Not even sure where you would get a Bristol key.  Used to see them on the set screws of Multilith presses.

The Robertsons are all over RVs.  But they've become popular on decking screws recently so you can find bits for them.

I remember years ago trying to find Pozidrive bits to work on my skis.  Even now, if you want a laugh, go into your local home improvement/hardware store and ask for a Pozidrive tool.

Whereas in England, that's the most common.

Want a real laugh go ask for a Pacman, "D", or "Double D" tool.

Almost all current electrical gear can use Robertsons now. Panels, breakers, switches, receptacles and cord caps.
